Apologies for the following blog

I meant, " Miracle, no it was expertise" The plumber fixed it.

After the dreary, cold Sunday, we had a hot. sunny Monday. The red chestnut tree, that will bloom soon.

Miracle , not expertise.

The plumber and Buster. Yep, for the first time in 15 years, turning on the water ,
NO LEAKS. Otherwise, it was a cold grey day at the Lake House last Sunday.

Niagara

No matter how hard they try, they can't ruin Niagara.

Happy Birthday, Sara!

Weekend

My friend Ruth’ sister in law, Clara, died and on Saturday they had a memorial service for her up in Delhi. We went up Saturday morning with Clara’s oldest friend Alessandra. Alessandra’s family and mine have been friends for many years. In fact Clara met Ruth’s brother David at our house.
It was a sad occasion, though it is always so nice to see the Frames, Our once baby sitter Vanessa was also there with her baby daughter. The children had a great time. We stayed over night in Andes and came home this morning. Chiara and Chandran went to this season first soccer game. Chandran was the coach today as Colum is still in the hospital for his arm. He may be there a while longer as he needs to have a second operation. They lost 2-1. but the final goal was scored in the last few seconds of the game.

Remember June 19!

This is Delamater Inn, Rhinebeck, NY. We visited this week end, in the rain, to check it out. We then went on to NY, see the flickr site!

April 1

I thought the best joke was Bapu's. Close 2nd was the girls' band director who told them that, due to budget constraints, next year's big band trip would probably be to Syracuse or Niagara.
