The Hudson River

The house on the Hudson River. Very nice.

We had a lovely weekend, stayed at Maya and Guy’s; unfortunately they were not there. They have a lovely house with a beautiful garden, Nick and Laura enjoyed it very much. We went up to look at houses with our real estate agent, Beth. We saw two very nice ones, of which one was is a definite possibility.  We may go back up on Thursday to see another house that we were unable to see this weekend.
Jessica and her daughter, Grace, dropped by to visit us yesterday. This morning we went to the farmer’s market in Rhinebeck before we headed home.

Another Hudson River property. Though the land was incredible, the house, though nice, was not great and it was too far up.

Free Range Chicken Garden

There are boulders, rocks.  Very hard to dig the holes.  The fence will be 5 ft. tall with wire fencing on the inside.    It has been a hard job.  I am pleased with the look of it. That is Don in the back hoe,  with Ken.

Spring is so beautiful.  Blogger has changed its format, new things  to learn.

Six new chicks
Drum Joy           They played a composition by an Eastman School student., using  gongs, voice, rocks, recorder, as well as the usual percussion instruments.  One of the really beautiful method was dipping a gong or a triangle into water .  It bends the sound!
