Chicken News

We integrated Lulu Lorp back into the hen house. She has pen feathers already, it was 10 days ago that she was attached. The laundry room works out ok for an infirmary. However, bad news, Kalyani saw 2 small fox near the hen house, and scared them away. It turns out they have a den not for into the bushes from the hen house. Any ideas? Our neighbor suggested, gasoline, bleach, and gun. That is not appealing. I would like to live and let live.

Final College Update

I sit here writing this post on a beautiful Saturday morning, absolutely starving. Why, you might ask? Well it is Easter and I guess in Canada that translates to starve all the students living in residence while everyone else gets to go home. I'm not even exaggerating. There is literally no food open. I have resorted to eating vending machine food, which is just candy because they haven't restocked them. While I love candy, I've it's not the breakfast I had envisioned. I didn't realize how hard it is to study on an empty stomach. Oh also, School has finished I only have exams right now. My first exam is on Monday at 8:30 in a gym. Luckily its a short exam. I have five in total. Relatively spread out, so I'm not too freaked.

New topic, but still Guelph related. Susi had here drama club lock in on Thursday night, from 6 to 6. So naturally we were texting each other. Apparently she was going crazy around them. You can ask her I don't really remember, I've been trying to block out that night. Anyway, Around one in the morning I decided that I was tired and needed to got to sleep. But of course Susi was still texting me so it wasn't until around 2:30 that I finally managed to fall asleep. As I was falling asleep, I thought to myself. I thought Jo you have no classes tomorrow, You should sleep in and then wake up and by some hand soap. So I thought back to myself Jo you're right, I will. It was going really well too, until about 3:30 am when the fire alarm went off. It is not a nice noise to wake up to. I don't know about you guys, but when I wake up to a fire alarm i'm not exactly calm. I had to find my shoes and put them on and remember my key and wallet and a jacket because it was chilly. Normally, when a fire drill happens you just go outside for like 10 to 15 minutes while the fire department does their little check. However, when I opened my door, to exit my room, I noticed that the hallway seemed a little foggy. I was like oh crap an actual fire. Just to ease your minds, there was no fire. So I got outside with people filing out after me. I found my RA outside holding a fire extinguisher. This is the point I started texting Susi and well I won't say what said to Susi, but I'll give a brief overview. As it turns out a boy from one of the other residences had been in our building, thought it would be funny to set off a fire extinguisher, break some glass, and then pull the fire alarm. It was on my floor, I might add. When the cops and fire department showed up, you could tell they were pissed. Everyone knew who the culprit was, I mean I didn't, but everyone else did. You know how I said he lived in residences, well it turns out he had been kicked out. He was gonna get seriously fined and more I hope. The fireman said it was okay to go to our rooms. I don't know if any of you have accidentally inhaled fire extinguisher stuff, if not you're lucky because it is worse than smoke. The stuff from the fire extinguisher has this horrible bitter taste that is really hard to get rid of and it makes you cough real bad. The fire department didn't leave until around 4:30 because they had to clean up the glass and stuff. I know this because I wasn't able to fall asleep until around 5:30.

Around 9 o'clock I woke up to go find food and buy soap. Naturally, I didn't find food so I decided to walk to the mall for soap. As it turns out it's not just the campus that closes up, pretty much everything. So, I had to walk back empty handed. I still need soap.

Not much else has happened, so I guess I'll wrap up. Chiara, if you read this, look up chasing the sun by the wanted. Everyone else can too, I suppose, but you probably won't like it. They are a boy band. Yeah, so this is my last post, hoped you enjoyed it.
