Easter Weekend

 We had a lovely weekend up in Saugerties. We arrived early Friday, both Nicky and Laura were out of school. Chiara and Joseph joined us later on that evening, they took the bus.
We decided to have our Easter feast on Saturday, ham instead of lamb, as I had forgotten the lamb back in NYC. It was a beautiful weekend, mostly sunny and mild enough, yet not so much so that it was fun building a fire. Otis was there sporting his spring cut.

The Pond and the Lake, March 12,2016

 The house has sustained far less intrusion than usual.  The biggest mess is upstairs.  Interestingly, the dryer tissues work.  Our bed is almost untouched.  It would be nice if that log would remain on our beach.  The pond is completely melted now, but remains high.  That picture was f few days ago.
