Change of plans
Chiara will not be confirmed this year. Her class trip was scheduled for the week of her confirmation. I spoke to the director of Religious Education and the best solution is that she will be confirmed next year. She will continue to go to classes and do her volunteer work for this year.

From Popop: Where is the class trip? Also, we went to a gift shop (part of a nunnery)here in Bruges, hoping to find some confirmation gift for Chiara. We could not find anything particularly suitable.
They are going to Colorado. They will do some volunteer work on a reservation and then go rafting. The gift does not need to be something religious in nature.
How are you enjoying Bruges?
