They did not even seem very tired.   Really nice to have them here.  Chandran took the bus back to NY yesterday.  We will take Chiara and the bikes back to NY next week, after  Sus graduates.

so it begins

Chandran and Chiara started on their trip this morning at 8:30. they plan to get up Stony Point today. They were given strict orders to notify me upon their arrival.
 Chiara took her ACT on Saturday, she had lost her school ID, so I got out her passport and noticed the the twins' passports had expired. We spend a few hours at the post office to renew them. Glad we found out now and not at the border going to Stratford.
We all enjoyed watching Italy beat England 2-1.
Laura had her last soccer game on Sunday.

The jacket is from Claire, perfect for walking on Reed Road.  I am not sure how it came up,  did she really not want it anymore?  

I am meeting the plumber to install the hot water heater this afternoon.  We have an appointment with Rick S. who put in our stairs and arch to the porch (I hope he is not disappointed too much that we did not paint or stain them),  We will talk about the bathroom.  However,  he cannot do the work in July, so it will have to do for another year.  He will do it in Sept.

And, last, but not least, Kly has arranbed for pro cleaners to clean the place.  That will be done before August.
