I called Lollipop Farm, and they said it's typical for a doe to leave her fawn for long periods of time. It's also typical to leave it near human habitation, since they know there are fewer predators.
I don't think either he or Winnie would enjoy that friendship. So hadn't saved the blog website on my new computer and couldn't find it. Luckily my evil power cable broke and I'm on my old computer which has the site as a favorite. Sam and I travel from Boston to SF. We will stay one night at the airport and meet up with K2, Mom and Dad. the next day and travel with them throughout. My flight on the 9th leaves around noon. Sam is figuring out whether to visit his friend in LA.
