Thank you Suzanne

Suzanne sent us a family ticket to the Maker fair in NYC. It was great, gadgets and inventions plus fun shows. The favorite was the human size Mouse trap ( you know the game). We bumped into Matt, Chandran's biking buddy, he was there playing his accordion and handing out free cds. When Chandran pointed him out to Chiara she thought it was a joke. So thank you again Suzanne for a wonderful time.

Celtic Fest

The girls had a lovely henna job done. The kilts were lovely. I looked up Hewitt on the charts, we are there, I tried Bacom, not a Scot. After visiting Scotland, I thought I looked Scottish, the build and the hair.

Dad and I crashing the party...

and going to the Celtic Fest in Olcott with the family up the hill. Iggy is a rooster. I have heard him crow several times, but this morning, it sounded like he is really tuning it up. I will be buying corn on the cob all winter. They all come to me instantly when I have it. Handy when I need to put them in their palace.

First week of school picture

Nick had his first piano lesson yesterday, it went well. Laura's lesson went very well, she could remember one of her recital peaces, and played it almost perfectly. Anna's mom brought Cookie with her. Cookie and Gus got along very well. Blacker decided he wanted to skip the excitement and stayed in Chiara's bedroom.

Brockport Fancypants Dinner Society

I am the newest member of the Brockport Fancypants Dinner Society. After an interview and paying a large fine, I was accepted as a member. Yay!

According to Jo's friend Toni, who probably should know, both Americanas are male! Something to do with pointy neck feathers.

Battle Hamsters

Nicky was telling us about Kung Zhu the battle hamsters. They wear armor and ride in tanks. We though what a strange imagination he has. We were wrong, they do exist!

Happier

At least in the Park. He is starting to enjoy our morning walks. He is also getting better with other dogs. Walking on the sidewalks is still not fun for him. We have discovered that he does not mind 78 street, so we take him often. We are all well, Chiara has started with soccer practice. She is gone from 8:30 till 1:00. With Nick and Laura we have been going to playgrounds. It takes a while to get moving as it is so hot.
