In the picture with Nick playing the trumpet, was a computer, Jo was skyping from Guelph. Canadian Thanksgiving is much earlier in the season, so she was not able to be here.
Also, that picture of Uncle Chan wearing a vest and carving the turkey looks oddly similar to the picture on the calendar of last year's Thanksgiving. In the picture Uncle Chan is wearing a vest and carving the turkey. The facial expressions and posture are very similar as well. Vest is different.
