We abandoned our Pope Island reservations at the suggestion of our
Racquette River boat rental (we rented a boat as did Janet and Jeanne)
because of high winds on the lakes. Really enjoyed the new spot.
However, next time we will bring a table. We did have a nice log and
fire pit of sorts. The really nice treat was a sandy beach for put in
and at the camp site.

Looks like a lovely fall camping/canoeing trip. I am surprised to see so many green leaves on the trees.
