Halloween

Laura slept over at her friend Coco's house on Friday. She lives in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. On Saturday Chandran, Nicky and I went to get her. We first had lunch at a local pub that a friend of Noah's had suggested. It was fun, good beer selection and a full English breakfast. Plus the rugby finals were on TV and the people in the pub were enthusiastic, unfortunately the popular team, Australia, lost to New Zealand.  Afterwords we met up with Laura, Coco and her parents. In Bay Ridge the kids trick or treat at the shops as well as the houses, so they got quite a loot.  We then took the long subway ride home.  No trick or treating in our neighborhood this year, by the time we got home we just wanted to relax.

Yes, terrific!

Laura's was quite gruesome, she got quite a lot of double takes. Nicky looked quite good with his sword.

Good costumes again! It reminds me, we were there last year for the holiday! Maybe next year! Is Laura playing soccer again? Chandran coaching? Did you see the FBI agents from Brockport? They were good. Halloween in London?

No soccer. She gave it up last year. She will start playing again once it is offered at school, next year I think. Loved the FBI agents from Brockport. I don't think Chiara did much for Halloween, she had spent Thursday night sleeping on the street (with friends) waiting to get tickets to see Benedict Cumberbatch in Hamlet. The performance was on Friday, I think Saturday they mostly slept.
