I'm hooked!
Just ran into the bookstore to buy the third in the Twilight Series (in hard cover!!)even though I was late for an appt.. Have read the first two, one on Saturday, one on Sunday. So, young nieces and offspring, what do you think about the casting?-I almost picked up the magazine devoted to all things about the production. I still think Anne Rice rules the vampire world (in spite of her recent religious conversion), but Meyers knows how to leave you hanging.

the casting is awful. they needed flawless looking people to play the vampires and they didn't get it... especially with edward. i think they did well with bella and jacob, though.
Meyers is a Mormon. (This in reference to Ann Rice's conversion.)
I think the Edward actor looks good-he was funny on perez or people, saying the audition called for the perfecct man, and he felt uncomfortable saying he wss the perfect man. Whatever.
K2=that's very intersting ( the Mormon thing). The books so far have a certain amount of lust (esp. the interspecies type) but it's very circumspect.
I'm seeing the midnight premier when the movie comes out
Hannah and Joanna are boycotting the first showing to express their views about the casting.
I like the casting for Emmet and James. Robert Pattinson is attractive, but he's no Edward.

Robert Pattinson does have terrible personality. I personally don't think there is anyone who could possibly play Edward, but if i had to choose, I would say Gaspard Ulliel. He's a French actor.

i looked him up, after hannah's comment. very cute. lots of guys that would make better edwards... alas alas.
still excited for the movie though! thanksgiving break we should go (mom and sam).
