Last night with 98% in, Massa led by about 4,000 votes. There are about 12,000 absentee ballots. Everyone thinks Massa has won, including local press and the AP, but there hasn't been any concession or declaration of victory. In fact Kuhl was lamenting that there wasn't a "decisive victory." Me too, Randy.

The 12,000 absentees are for Monroe county only (which we won by 12,000 votes). The rest of the counties (where we didn't perform as well) have fewer. I'm pretty confident at this point. It feels good, but we really want a definite result. Needles to say, I'll be employed for a little while longer.
Let us know what happens, Noah. Congratulations on working so hard for a good cause.
I meant "needless" not "needles." Sorry for the confusion, everyone.
oh ok. i thought you were going to work for a needles manufacturer now
LOL, Eliza. Well, no, that's an exaggeration. COL, which will henceforth refer to an audible chuckle.
So, Noah. What's the latest? What will you do if he's elected? What will you do if he's not? There's always the needles factory.
