Only 7 trees today. Worked on the iris in the front bed. Dug out the dying hemlock. Found the probable reason of death. Under the thin layer of top soil is that sandy construction stuff. Took the hemlock over to the West side of the house where the soil is reach and dark and soft and moist. Maybe the hemlock will live.

Lots of work!
Yeh, and 10 more this morning. And what about the weeding that needs doing. I need to hire some help. But who, how?
I'll send one of my children. :)
Now that would be nice!

Who and what was deleted?
Another 10 trees today. I hope the trees will hang on in their bare root stage till I get to them all.
Don will plant his 100 or so up on the Eureka hill property. Even if some of yours don't make it, it's a good contribution.
How old are Don's trees? Are they the redwoods that he has potted?
No trees planted today. Or tomorrow probably. Friday, yes!
Don's trees came as starts without dirt that he put in pots. He dug dirt from under the house! So..if the bathroom starts slowly sinking...
