Is he the one who also did a lot of work on myths and religion? I listened to his interviews with Bill Moyers. He was very good.
Douglas Campbell was the Stratford great- the myths guy was Joseph Campbell.
I'm glad to hear that, Chan, because when I saw Dad's comment I was afraid I had imagined a really great Lear from long ago.

I am eating crow. Not recognizing Douglas Campbell from Stratford, and worse, not looking at the website before making my comments! I have seen him in many plays, the last one being as Falstaff in Henry IV.
