as you can see this article has made me change my previous post.

I feel that the jist of the article was that it is completely unlikely that predators would use on-line photos to come after children. As for people using the photos for their own personal reasons-I'd rather that than identity theft. So I guess I wouldn't worry about it. However, I would never put photos of children in my class up, because it's not my place to make the decision for other parents.

I google the kids once in a while to see if they can be tracked. So far, so good. I think it's right to avoid the names of other peoples' children.

I agree, the danger of some actual harm coming to a child because of posting photos is miniscule. Especially as so many more pics are going online. But if you're uncomfortable with someone finding and using photos for their own icky purposes, might be best to make the site more private.

How's Chiara's wrist? Does she have a smaller cast now?

Chiara is going to see the doctor on Wednesday. Hopefully she will get the small cast then.

I googled myself. All that I came up with was a bunch of stuff for my frat, high school swimming, and Cornell elections.

There were no pictures.

However, there are numerous sites with info about my campaign donations. No mention of the lawsuit against the New York State Democratic Committee that has my name on it, though.

Oh and I never told anyone about that before, but it's not a big deal. I've talked to Rich and he said that my name was on the receipt and that is my only involvement. It should be settled out of court.
