Were you lucky to catch your young rooster crowing? Or does he crow all the time...?
That morning he was crowing again and again. He doesn't in general, though he does crow a lot more than is strictly necessary.
Will you have to separate him from the hens to prevent the eggs from being fertilized?We have a popular bike trail in Seattle and there is a well known section where everybody off loads their roosters!
Off loading roosters, now that is a funny idea.At the moment we are not planning a separation of the rooster. Our plan is to collect the eggs, refrigerate them, and eat the eggs as soon as possible. At the moment, not eggs yet.I
