The patch gave me a feel as if I were one of the chickens turning my head to get a clearer look. I could not read with the patch either. Fortunately, Dr. Smith took it off this morning, and instead of the lovely yellow appearance of the world through the 70 something lens, the world is blueish and I can read already without glasses. Now to make a cake for that lovely 17 year old. It is to be a vanilla pound cake with chocolate frosting.

Blue? Did Dad have that experience also?
Yes. I did. Suddenly I noticed how blue the T-shirts of the Brockport band players were.
I really do want to know what the dinner was.
The dinner was a good lasagna. The cake did not do so well. The frosting was good, the cake was a pound cake from B.C. cook book, and it was dry. It was a nice party. All of the Chhibbs and the Henrick youth were present as well as the adults, Kelsy and Toni. They set up a banquet table in the living room. (combination of dining table and the living rm. side table, which magically opens to a regular sized table.
what is Rachel up to these days?
I have one bluish eye and one yellow. I prefer the mellow yellow, but that will be gone when I have my cataract removed.
also, I realize, Jan, that you made the cake...I missed some posts.
