Just a minor correction. It was taken in 1956 Fall (soon after I arrived in the U. S.) The building is the girls' dorm at the U. of Tennessee.

Thanks for the compliment. As for the location of the picture, there was a group of Indian young women (all from Madras) who were graduate students in Home Ec and I used to hang around with them.
