I was watching the Ellen Degeneres show-don't ask, I was flipping channels and it was a repeat of her birthday show with a BIG surprise guest promised (plus I like her -her stand up shows are great). Well, it was Julia Roberts-she has chickens, has named them and is obvs as besotted as Mom. One is named Veronica;they come when called; "they work so hard"-an egg a day!!! One laid a monster egg one time-on and on-it was pretty endearing.

Gus could take both of those bi-colors down in an heartbeat.
