Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler says he checked into to a rehab facility earlier this month to recover from foot surgeries to repair problems caused by his stage moves.
"The doctors told me the pain in my feet could be corrected but it would require a few surgeries over time," Tyler says in a statement released Thursday. "The 'foot repair' pain was intense, greater than I'd anticipated. The months of rehabilitative care and the painful strain of physical therapy were traumatic. I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet. Make no mistake, Aerosmith has no plans to stop rocking. There's a new album to record, then another tour."

According to the statement, Tyler was treated at the center after series of surgeries and post-operative physical therapy "to correct long-time foot injuries resulting from his trademark athletic performance onstage."

The statement follows reports the 60-year-old singer was being treated instead for substance abuse.

Two Red Maples

Chandran and Sara and kids came up for the Memorial Day week end in their brand new beautiful red car. Chandran always works hard when he comes. I am grateful. These two trees were planted in the openings that he and Don, then he at Easter opened and cleared. I am happy with how it looks!

Rome

Fontanella dei Libri ( The Book Fountain)

Piazza Navona

The Pantheon
The Spanish Steps

The Terrace

Nick and I came back from Rome yesterday. It was a very nice trip my dad was thrilled to have us there and even Franca was less grumpy than usual. The weather was not the best but when the sun did come out the light was gorgeous. The Jasmine was in full bloom on the terrace, Nick and I enjoyed spending time out there. We also went on daily walks. Its nice to be home.

Happy Birthday Sam

He is 18 today!!!

My Observations While Studying in the Engineering Library

My friend and I decided that it would be a good idea to leave the dorm and study in a library. Neither of us have done this before. We went to the various libraries and found that, because it is exam season, there aren't available seats. Being an engineer, he suggested we try his library. I was skeptical because, at least in my mind, an engineering library is likely to be the most crowded place ever. We managed to find an open table, and have been studying for an hour or so. I got bored.

I will be honest, the kids here don't seem to be party-goers. The kid next to my friend is studying for his 600 level calc exam. This other kid is passed out and judging by his appearance he has been here several weeks.

This is a picture that I took with the camera in my computer of the various Indian kids around me. They are from all over the subcontinent, though I'm pretty sure they all grew up somewhere in Jersey.

Also, Greg Strable, Brockport High School's class of 2006 valedictorian, is here. He isn't an engineer, but his frat house is basically across the street.

If anyone knows anything about monopsonistic markets and how a mandated wage affects employment levels please let me know before 9:00 am tomorrow because I have no idea what's going on.

Thanks,

Noah

Pics from the lake today

Buster and I have just returned. Our beach has changed, our nice tree that we rolled the boats over and sat on is gone. The water laps at the bank. From Kam and Jims land: the beach, the land looking towards lake, bushes, the land looking away from lake, large trees.

Spring Cut

Yesterday we gave Nick and Chandran their annual buzz cuts.

My favoritest poem ever

A walrus lives on icy floes
And unsuspecting Eskimos
Don't take your wife to Arctic Tundra
A walrus might come up from undra

Hehehehe!!!

The new chairs have arrived and not a moment too soon. I don't think our old ones would have lasted another week.

Important Message from Jo rocks

Happy Birthday Katelyn Barber!!!! Seventeen at last.

Important Message from Jo rocks

I hate shots. They hurt me! I had to get one to day, the nurse tried to distract me and Hannah but it didn't work to well. For those of you who don't know (which would be all most everybody who doesn't live with Hannah and I) a TWILIGHT teaser trailer has recently come out. For those of you who like to read books like Eragon and such, no that's a lie Eragon is completely different from Twilight, but whatever I think you should read it. It is amazing!! I'm so excited about it and evrytime I watch it I get even more excited.

Up coming events in order are as follows:
this week AP exams have started ( Hee hee for Hann)
5/10 Lilac Parade, me and Hannah march
5/16 Jazz Ensemble plays at Lilac fest.
5/16 Prince Caspian comes out
That is all I can think of right now.
Oh and someones b-day, but I can't remember whose.

Jo rocks
Silly rabbit trix are for kids!!

Lexington Update

Jim saw the doctor for his follow up after his double hernia surgery last Saturday and all is well. He can now do all except lifting, so he goes back to work tomorrow. I have been sick for two days, but am also planning to return to work tomorrow. Eliza is home, having finished her semester. I am planning on going to a Reggio conference in Boulder at the end of June-the school will pay for the conference and I will pay hotel and airfare-am staying at the Boulderado, which should be fun. The conference is from 8-5 for three days and is an advanced Reggio workshop. I picked up my bangles that Uncle had remade for me in India and sent with friends to their son in Waltham, a very nice young man-they are a familiar weight on my wrist-really beautiful. Next Saturday I am going to a "Masters of Indian Percussion" concert at Harvard's Sander's Theatre, featuring Zakir Hussein (Is that right?-It's a familiar name), with Jonathan-it's his b-day gift from us-he was the only person I could think of that would be interested.

Yipee!

We only have about 37 days of school left this year(not including weekends). Well not really because we have a Monday off and a Friday off, so only 35 days! Woohoo!!!!
Later in June I have solo fest. I am playing two snare duets with my friend, Delaney. Our duets are called, Duet 3 and duet 4. We rock!
I'm going to music camp for about 10 days after school ends. It is at Eastman community school. We go to camp for 8 or 9 days and then have a concert.
Lots coming up!!!!

I should have been interviewed.

Track

Chiara had another track meet today. The track is very dramatic, between the Manhattan & Brooklyn Bridges. Chandran made it down to see her, but missed her event (300 meters), but saw got to see her play cards. This is Isabella running the 800 (she did very well). PS 6 won the meet.

Sorry Again

This is the new ad released by the guy I'm interning for this summer. I thought it was well done and more enjoyable than watching Hillary Clinton fail at semi-modern technology.

I'm sorry

I really am.
