Chandran and Sara and kids came up for the Memorial Day week end in their brand new beautiful red car. Chandran always works hard when he comes. I am grateful. These two trees were planted in the openings that he and Don, then he at Easter opened and cleared. I am happy with how it looks!

I think Chan was meant to be a farmer! You should buy the adjoining property at the lake and farm that land as well as our back lot-we won't charge you for the use of the land!:) Plus, if you want to plant anything on our front lot, that might be OK. You can do vegetables and I will do flowers.
Amazing how much Chandran looks like my father (his grandfather). My father used to have the orthodox Brahmin type of hair (mostly shaved head with a tuft of hair at the back) but in 1945 he cut off the tuft and had his hair uniformly short (just as Chandran does now). Also, Chandran is as tall as I remember my father, not to mention the facial features.
