Walrus Update

Today's Science Times is a must for pinniped fans and poets looking for inspiration.

There was a walrus, Olga at the Brookfield zoo when we lived in Chicago. If you got there early in the morning and were her first visitor, she'd come over to look at you and make snuffling noises. I loved her.

I think that the walrus pictured in the paper would have to be VERY personable to be lovable.

Chan, you are coming on Friday? Good. I believe I noticed that Sara and Nick will arrive home from Rome on Thursday, right? Is she going to be up for this trip? I certainly hope so.

We're coming up on Saturday, to give Sara & and a chance to recover. We'll be leaving on Tuesday, though.
