being one handed, i have hired the girls up the hill to work in the yard, the 1st 3 pics is the in process 'water feature'. i am aiming at a dry stream with the rocks. it is connected to a downspout off the roof. jo spent a good 2 hrs. mowing, and there is more. too much grass. she did a good job.

kalyani left, this morning, for a week to attend a math conference in barbados !!

I hear sheep are pretty good at keeping grass under control....

hi!!! we have been talking goats. not this year though.

I like the sheep idea. Some of those Cottswold sheep--so pretty. And they're dumber than goats, so easier to keep. "And we like sheep..."

I think goats are browsers and will eat anything and everything-- trees, flowers, bushes, etc. Good at controlling brambles and blackberries if you have a problem with those, but not good at keeping grass short. Sheep, I guess, are true grass eaters.
