Madhu came home this morning. There was a little mishap between the car and the steps leading into the house, yes, he fell down! He did it slowly and gracefully and it appears without hurting the knee or anything else. As we contemplated how to get up, he chose to get up in a good way, by himself. The distance from the ground to standing seemed daunting. He sat up, then slid over to the step and pulled himself up using his arms. From the second step he was able to stand with the walker. It was a good lesson in recovering from a bad case scenario.
