I have sad news. My 36 year old science teacher, Mr. Dutt, died. We don't know how it happened. All we know is he was in his car. The car was stopped, and he died. I believe he died of medical problems. I feel very sad. He was my favorite special teacher.

He was escorting the 5th grade on a field trip, but in his own car, alone. On the way home, there was a traffic jam on I-87, and when traffic began moving, his car didn't.
There was no one in the school who was so loved by the kids and the faculty. As a special subject teacher, all the kids had him as a teacher. Dropping Chiara off at school this morning was a plunge into a sea of grief.
