Honors Ceremony

We went to Noah's (and Hannah's) Honors ceremony last night. It was nice. There was a slide show where baby pictures cleverly power pointed into their senior pictures. Very charming. Noah won several awards. He got $100 from the Sweden Democratic party for "government". He also got a president's award for his PSATs, we believe. He got a dictionary with his name in it for being on High Honor Roll all four years. Most impressive was the NY State Comptroller's award for "academic excellence and civic commitment".


Best for me and Ashwani, though, were the nice things that the principal and vice principal said to us about Noah at the ice cream social afterwards.

Hannah was recognized for being on high honor roll all year. Actually, she was on "excelsior", which is higher.
